Global Headquarters for Wildlife Conservation Society

This building feels like it belongs to where it is located which is one of the vital aspects of architecture , people seem to ignore these days. A place for Wildlife Conservation Society sits on the nature itself.  Although man-made, the building itself does not look foreign to the natural environment. The building surrounds itself with glasses which exposes the nature inside. Nature is a part of the interior life.

I think nature has an effect on lifestyle inside and outside the building. I like the 20’s style furnitures and fancy how the furniture is closer to the floor despite the high ceilings.

Wood is a vital material for human-kind. It is a need for survival. Finnish architect Alvar Aalto wraps even the metal railings with wood for instance. For this case wood makes building dance with the nature.
